GATE 2025 registration for MTech admission to NIT Meghalaya has started. Candidates can also fill out the application form online. The GATE 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. Candidates can check the detailed notification on the GATE 2025 official website and also on the GATE Shiksha page.

NIT Meghalaya is among the newly established NITs in the northeast region. It managed to secure 72nd under engineering category. As for its placement, NIT Meghalaya concluded the 2021-22 placement session with 182 job offers. The NIT Meghalaya average package and the highest package stood at INR 12.70 LPA and INR 52 LPA, respectively. Additionally, the lowest package offered was INR 3.6 LPA. Over 60 companies participated in NIT Meghalaya placements 2022, including well-known companies such as Amazon, Accenture, Microsoft, etc.

The total tuiton fee for the M.Tech programme at NIT Meghalaya is INR 69,500- INR 3.8 lakh, The fee structure mentioned doesn't include hostel fee. Further, the fee structure is for general category. Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year, hence is indicative.

NIT Meghalaya offers a full-time two-year MTech programme in five different engineering disciplines, which are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. To be eligible for admission to the M.Tech programme at NIT Meghalaya, candidates must have a valid GATE score.

For admission to MTech course in NIT Meghalaya candidates have to appear for the GATE exam. GATE 2024 registration for M.Tech admission has started .Candidates can also fill GATE application form 2024 online at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. GATE 2024 exam will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. IISc Bangalore has released the detailed GATE 2024 information brochure. Candidates can check the detailed notification on the GATE 2024 official website and also on the GATE Shiksha page. Candidates seeking admission to IIM Shillong MBA are required to appear for CAT. Candidates who clear the CAT cut off for IIM Shillong admission will be invited to appear for further rounds of selection.After CAT, the candidate are required to appear for the GD-PI round and a Written ability Test. The admission procedure for IIM Shillong MBA 2024 involves two steps. Firstly, candidates with a valid CAT 2023 will be selected for the Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI). Yes, IIM Shillong offers two year full time MBA course. Admission to IIM Shillong MBA is done on the basis of CAT percentile, performance of the candidate in the personal Interview round and other factors such as academic profile, work experience (if any) and diversity.

For its flagship BTech course, NIT Meghalaya admits students with a valid JEE Main score. Candidates are allotted seats through JoSAA/CSAB Counselling.Admission to M.Tech is through GATE, followed by CCMT Counselling.Similarly for MSc admission, IIT JAM and CCMN Counselling are required.
