Hello dear student, North-Eastern Hill University is a Central University established on 19 July 1973 by an Act of the Indian Parliament. The university is in the suburb of Shillong, the state capital of Meghalaya, India. The university has two campuses: Shillong and Tura both are in Meghalaya.To be eligible for admission in M.A. program at NEHU Shillong, candidates must possess a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks. Minimum eligibility for admission is 55%(45% for SC/ST) marks in BSc(qualifying degree) and 50% marks in exam then cutoff will decide on basis on number of candidates appeared in exam and difficulty level of exam.

Firstly you have to get 55%(45% for SC/ST) in BSc(qualifying degree).
Qualifying marks for exams is 50%.
The cut off depends on the factors like number of candidates appeared in exam, difficulty level of exam etc.

Admission Process:
1- Go to the college's official website then register yourself and fill out the application process and make a payment of INR 200 only to obtain application no. print the form.
2- For Spot Admission: go to the Head of Department of the subject with a printed online form along with the class 12th mark sheet. Spot Admissions will be on merit.
4- If you are a rank holder, you would be given direct admission. they may contact the principal or vice principal.
5- Admitted candidates will receive an E-mail for making the payment.

The latest cut off list is yet to announce by the University but you can keep refreshing it here we will keep you updated as the cut off list is announced probably by the 1st week of October the cut off will be out delaying in CUET is causing the delay
