No. Candidates cannot join SRMIST without SRMJEEE. SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE) is mandatory for SRM BTech admissions. The top recruiters are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. The average package ranges from INR 3 to 10 Lacs per annum, though some of the students can manage more. The placement cell actively arranges trainings, mock interviews, and industry interactions so that students are better employed. As a whole, placements at DiST are good, though not guaranteed to each one of the students.
