Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College and KEM Hospital is not fully governmental college. This college is run by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) .Since BMS is a governmental entity, so you can say the college is Semi-Governmental. BMC is the municipal corporation of Mumbai which works under Government of Maharashtra. College is 2° governmental i.e., Government owns BMC and Further BMC owned Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College and KEM Hospital.
