Sengunthar Engineering College takes care of the students' safety needs so that students can stay and study in peace. SEC Tamil Nadu has CCTV cameras installed everywhere in the university. Security guards are installed everywhere in the university. The college has made the safety and security of students an utmost priority.

Sengunthar Engineering College, established in 2001 is a private college and is located in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. The college was established by the Sengunthar Charitable Trust and started its journey from 2007-2008 to uplift the women students. From 2010 to 2011, the college was converted into a co-educational college with a total campus area of 12.83 acres.
