YCMOU is a self-financed University functioning under the Ministry of Higher & Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, and is recognised under Section 12 (B) from the UGC, New Delhi. The Governor of Maharashtra is the Chancellor of the University. YCMOU is one of the unic university. It has so many branches in Maharashtra state. This is an open university. This university is good for the people who are not able to study due to financial reason, working lifestyle or early dropouts.

The campus of MET League of Colleges, Bhujbal Knowledge City, Nashik has a nice and big canteen which also host its gym above the canteen. It has well developed computer labs and a big well developed library. It has best infrastructure, intelligent staff, down to earth people. The college has all facilities like ATM, gym, music, etc. The college also has separate hostel for boys and girls which are provided with mess facilities.
