However, international students considering the University of could be slightly higher than US students. The UG’s Academic Tution fee for international students is around (INR 37.9 L). The University of California Santa Cruz does offer scholarships to international students. The University gives scholarships on a merit basis, and more than 40% of international students at UC Santa Cruz take scholarships from the university. However, the scholarships are given under The Sara Matthews Scholarship which are awarded by ISSS and is granted to deserving undergraduate, F-1 or J-1 international students of Sophomore or Junior standing at UCSC with a 3.5 GPA or higher. This scholarship is to help with educational costs. Selected UCSC international students will receive a scholarship ranging from $1,000-$5,000.
