Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI), offers BDes and BBA at an Undergraduate level. Admission to UG courses is entirley based on, candidate's performance in the FDDI AIST, entrance test conducted by the Institution. However, before applying for the AIST, candidates are required to be eligible: Twelve years of school education from any recognised Board. Any School or Board or University examination in India or in foreign country recognised by the Association  of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system.

Master of Design (MDes), with a duration of four years is divided in eight semester. The first two semester of MDes, will be a 'Compulsory Foundation' year where a basic knowledge of Design, Design principles, process, 2D & 3D CAD, Materials, will be imparted. In the last semester the students will be taking up Design Project/Research Project. Industrial internship is in built in the curriculum. The curriculum has been designed by a team of experts from IIT- Delhi. In case of career oppurtunity, FDDI MDes open promising career opportunity in the trade as Footwear Designers for Fashion and Sport shoes, Product developer, etc.

Yes, admission dates for admission 2024 is out for MDes at FDDI. Admission to the MDes programme is based on the FDDI All India Selection Test (AIST). Therefore, candidates have to watch out for the AIT admission dates. Application is open for the AIST exam and will be open till the second week of November. The AIST exam will be held in the month of January.
