Yes, Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) is a government institute.The Footwear Design & Development Institute was founded in 1986 by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government of India. It has also been declared as the Institution of National Importance under the FDDI Act 2017. To get admission to this government college, candidates must have valid score in accepted entrance exam which is  FDDI AIST.

Candidates who have completed twelve years of school education from any recognised board, are eligibile for the FDDI BDes Programme. Also candiates must appear for either AIST  (All India Selection Test) or UCEED, which qualifies the candidates for admission to the BDes programme.

The Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), conducts their own entrance exam for admission to BDes programme. AIST  (All India Selection Test) is the Institute's entrance exam. Yes, Admission dates are out for FDDI MBA admission 2024,  AIST  (All India Selection Test). Registration is ongoing and the last date to apply is April 4, 2024. Admission to the MBA programme is based on the Merit list, which is based on the candidate's performance in AIST. Also candidates have to qualify the eligibility criteria:  Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any Institute / University recognised by law in India.
