If you are from medium class family and you really want to enjoy a college life and a good, then I will prefer ICFAI Dehradun. Let me describe in some positive and -negative points to make you easier.
Good faculty members: many of faculty members are very supportive and their teaching way is really great. Infrastructure: it's moderate, a small campus (not a movie like campus) but yes good with a beautiful view of snow mountains. Placement: IT totally depends on you. Many firms and company visit regularly for the placement. You get 20 to 30k as a student of below average. And if you are a good decent student then it will go up to 50k or may be 50k.
College life: that will be now going to be interesting. If you really want that your college life will become same as a chiichore movie then yes, it will be in ICFAI. Of course you will have to face the ragging ( senior are waiting), and the one more positive point is that the Queen of Mountains (Mussoorie) is near it 40 km. Other points: ICFAI University law fees of per annum is 1 Lacs 20 thousand and if you live in hostel then 80k is hostel fees for per year.
