Dear Abhinandan, Both Jaypee Noida and LPU are good institutes. I completed my study at LPU and will share the details of the LPU with you. LPU is spread over 600 acres of campus having 30000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff. Many students come across the world which makes me feel like I'm in a foreign country. LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields
Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package available for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything. Though both the colleges are good in academics but LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. In order to get admission in CSE there is an eligibility criteria that needs to be fulfilled by the student. For B.Tech (CSE) the eligibility includes 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) + LPUNEST. For B.Tech CSE (Hons) 70% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST. JEE (Mains) exam score may be considered for scholarship but you need to qualify the eligibility criteria first. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories:
1.1. Scholarship: Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. Well if you ask me I would say there is no point comparing because both LPU and Amity University has their own story of glory and limitations. On one side where Amity University is famous for many branches. LPU is a younger a shining star in the ranking of Best Private University of India. Lovely Professional University's commitment to teaching excellence and providing the highest quality education to its students has once again brought laurels. The Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2020 and LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. LPU is also ranked 78th in the list of all the government and private universities of the country. University Engineering School is in the Top 100, Management School in the Top 50, and Pharmacy School in the Top 30 institutions of India. A new name as compared to others in the competition but a promising and a progressive university. Both the university have :
The Lush Green, Pollution-Free Campus. Wide Range of Courses. Infrastructural Delight. Good Placements. Cultural & Extracurricular Activities. Word-of-Mouth. However I would say in LPU there is immense amount of exposure as well as academic-industry interactions happening throughout the year. LPU believes in overall grooming. The university also maintain a serene teacher student ration along with it the university pertains a thorough mentorship model that builds a stronger and effective working model. I can share my experience as I am a passout of LPU and I did my Mechanical Engineering from LPU while my best friend chose Amity. Just the difference was in regards to the total fee ( usually high in case of Amity and more over no such good facilities at that price). I would say LPU was way reasonable as I could complete my B.Tech in 4 Lacs with accommodation but in Amity it costed him about approximately 10Lakhs. On top of that in LPU I had the benefit of earning valuable scholarships and multiple career centric opportunities like industrial exposure, live projects, floor job training and study abroad. All this as a package was a justified and genuine bid. In short my experience with LPU was a worthy investment experience.
