No, to be admitted to Sambalpur University, you must pass the WBJEE or Jee Mains with a good rank, depending on which stream you are interested in.At this university preference is given to JEE score.

The student must have passed a 10+2 or above examination from a recognised board. The compulsory subjects need to be Physics and Mathematics, chemistry. Minimum marks required in the qualifying exam is 60% aggregate. For SC and ST candidates, the minimum marks requirement is reduced by 10% (50%). Yes, Sambalpur University is one of the best university in Odisha for the Placements in MBA. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA and the lowest salary package was 2 LPA. Average package offered was between 3-6 Lpa. Around 45% of students gets placed in our college. Top roles offered were customer relationship manager, management trainee, Human Resources etc.
