The Orissa Act 9 of 2009 created the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) Odisha by converting the University College of Engineering (UCE), Burla into a non-affiliating Unitary University. The notification was issued by the Industries Department of the Government of Odisha and went into effect on July 1st, 2009 (see Memo No. IV/TTI-33/2009-8553 and 8564 dtd.10th June 2009). The Odisha Government accepted the first set of VSSUT, Burla 2010 statutes in Industry Department notification No. V-FE-II-01/2010/8697 dated June 21, 2010.

I found from a source that the hostel fee for the VSSUT Sambalpur, Odisha should be around 25,000 - 40,000.But I am not sure and still I recommend you to refer their official website for real-time informatiions as well as updates.

I'm not sure on specific PGs (Pay Guest accommodations) and hostels near Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT). There will be some PG options nearby, but I do recommend you to prefer hostels which is more secure and safer when compared with PGs.
