Yes, you can get into PIET with 70% in class 12th. However, the admission process for each course at PIET varies with its eligibility criteria. For admission to PIET, candidates need to secure a minimum score of 75% (65% for reserved category) or need to be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards.

Cutoffs are subject to change annually with respect to course opted and seat availability. To check the PIET cutoff for 2023, candidates go to the official website of PIET . Look for the "Admission" or "Student" section on the website. Click on the "Merit List" Option. Then you can see the cutoff. One can also find cutoffs on educational websites like Shiksha.com for cutoff updates.

Both B.Tech CSE and B.Tech ECE at PIET offer good placement records, but B.Tech CSE typically has a slight edge in terms of placement ranking. Expected salary ranges from Rs. 2.4 Lacs to Rs. 1 crore per annum. Thus, as per demand and the current market scenario, B.Tech CSE has better placements than B.Tech ECE at PIET.

Yes, it can be said that PIET offers better placements than Geeta University. PIET has a full-fledged integrated placement cell. About 85–90% of students in the computer Science branch get placement in top sales-based companies such as TCS, HCL, IBM, INFOSYS, WIPRO, and BRUNO. It has a good placement rate as well.
