National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, Doctoral, Executive PhD and other courses to students. BTech (Computer Science & Engineering) branch is considered to be one of the most popular B.Tech branches at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. In the placements, B.Tech CSE students have been receiving the highest package across all branches in the past years. The basic eligibility criteria to apply for the NIT Rourkela B.Tech course is Class 12 from a recognised board in the Science stream with a minimum of five subjects and a minimum of 75% aggregate (65% for Reserved category candidates). Bits Pilani and NIT Rourkela are one of the best ranked universities present in India. Both of the university offers B.Tech and M.Tech courses to students under the top most and experienced faculty members. They have good infrastructures and offer a great experience to students through faculty and student exchange programmes. The placements are great in both the universities and both the universities offer scholarships to various course students. So which one is the best university depends on what the student is searching for in a particular university.

No, you cannot give KIIT phase 3 if you have only registered for KIIT phase 2. According to the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) website, candidates who have registered for KIITEE phase 1 or 2 are not eligible to appear for KIITEE phase 3. If you are unable to give the KIIT phase 2 exam, you will need to apply for a refund of your application fee. You can do this by logging into your KIITEE account and submitting a refund request. A score of 517 is quite good supposing it's out of 600. You can get a good college. List out the colleges you wish to apply to and then you will get a better idea. Check the previous year cutoff for the same colleges.
