There is no any chance of getting Thapar University. You may go for Chandigarh University, Sharda, etc.

Placement at LM Thapar School of Management is really good. I must say that Thapar School of Management is an educational Institution which always looks after the benefits and betterment of their students. Yes. You can give a try. According to first counselling list of thapar, 60 score can get you in your 2-3rd preferred branch. But undoubtedly, you can get admission in thapar. Visit: www.thapar.edu.

Honestly, no one leaves CSE branch seat. If there's any seat left, students from other branches will take it. As you haven't given JEE, there's a very little chance to get admission in a branch of your own choice.
But yes, last year, at the end, admission to Thapar was open to all. You could get a seat in the branches available at that time.
Usually, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil have some seats left.
