Hi Mayank,
M.Tech in energy technology is a budding field. If you wish to get into teaching then yes after pursuing this course you may get ample opportunities to become a teacher or if you study well then you might become a professor of the department in any college/university.
But it is better if you understand thoroughly about the course because M.Tech in energy management is an advanced programme that not only imparts knowledge about energy industry but also prepares students with more technical topics like energy regulation. And, in almost every industry there is a need for students who have studied energy technology.

Yes, you can. Your board/university doesn't matter as long as you've completed your 10+2 from a recognised school/board. The main thing that counts for admission in Thapar is your percentage and JEE Mains score. If your marks match the eligibility criteria then you are eligible to take admission in Thapar University.
You can refer to the below mentioned link for their eligibility criteria:

Hey Jasmita,
I think the students don't have the freedom to choose a domain of their choice at Thapar University, but the percentage of marks shared by you is really impressive. I don't think you'll face any problems while admission.
The only thing you have to keep in mind is that at TU the eligibility criteria is that you have to have at lease 60% marks in 10+2 and a minimum of 20% JEE score (at least) then only you are eligible for admission.

Hi Namya,
As you mentioned CBSE, therefore, I am considering that you seek admission in BE/B.Tech.
For admission in NIT, you need to have minimum 75% marks in class 12th.
For admission in Thapar University, the eligibility criteria is as follows-
Minimum 60% marks in class 12th and at least 20% aggregate marks in JEE Mains 2017.
Or
At least 80% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 15% aggregate marks in JEE mains 2017.
