No, NIT admission process Patna for M.Tech admission is not possible without valid GATE scores. NIT Patna M.Tech admission is based on candidates' performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

NIT Patna is ranked 55 among top Engineering institutes in the country in the NIRF 2024 rankings. As per the media reports, a total of 639 offers were made during placements 2023 as of now. The highest package and average package offered during NIT Patna placements 2023 stood at INR 52 LPA and INR 13.30 LPA, respectively. In addition, the the lowest package offered so far was INR 6 LPA. Moreover, the mechanical engineering department reported a maximum placement rate at 129%. The National Institute of Technology Patna MTech fee range between INR 1.4 lakh and INR 6.3 lakh (inclusive of integrated course fee). The National Institute of Technology Patna offers a two-year full-time MTech course at the postgraduate level. NIT Patna admission to the MTech course duration MTech course usually starts in the month of March-April after the GATE exam result declaration. The final selection is based on the GATE scores followed by CCMT counselling. The centralized CCMT counselling process for offering admission to MTech is done through online mode.
