Earning grades in high school above 85% as the general average, or while being in college above 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, have granted students the opportunity to avail of a scholarship at the Palawan State University. A mandated TOEFL score of at least 500 or an IELTS score of 5.5 is required on behalf of the student in question. Other than meeting the stipulated exam standards, very often, and sometimes for a given scholarship, they require a student to sit for an entrance examination set by the university, attesting to a minimum score of 100.
