In terms of difficulty, BITSAT and JEE Mains are comparable. Clearing BITSAT requires improved speed and accuracy, while JEE Advanced is more challenging, as it necessitates a deeper grasp of concepts. The number of questions asked in BITSAT is more than the number of questions asked in JEE. Students are required to solve one hundred and thirty (130) questions in three hours in BITSAT, while in JEE Mains students are required to solve seventy-five questions in three hours. As per the student reviews, the preparation for BITS and JEE are more or less on the same level in subjects like physics, chemistry and maths. However, students it has been suggested that getting into an IIT is more difficult than taking admission into BITS. 

BITS Pilani and NITs are both premier engineering institutes in India. They offer high-quality education and have good placement records. However, there are some key differences between the two institutes.BITS Pilani is a private institute, while NITs are government institutes. This means that BITS Pilani is more expensive than NITs. However, BITS Pilani offers a more flexible curriculum and allows students to choose their own electives. NITs, on the other hand, have a more structured curriculum.Ultimately, the decision of which college to attend is a personal one. You need to consider your own preferences and goals when making your decision.

Generally BE takes four years to complete and dual takes five years. Dual degree courses that are offered at BITS campuses are Msc. (Hons) Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics and Physics. First year will be common to all. Depending upon the CGPA of first year and your preferences, all the dualites will be allotted their respective BE degrees.From second year to fourth year BE students will start following their BE degree. In second year M.Sc students will start pursuing their compulsory courses of their M.Sc degree. In third year dualites will start pursuing BE degree with their juniors along with their Msc. In fourth year they will do only compulsory courses of BE. In fifth year they will do either thesis or PS or both. In addition to compulsory courses, people have to complete their electives too by the end of graduation. To sumup in simple terms, dualites will study BE with their juniors.ADVANTAGES:1. If you think its difficult to get your desired branch in BE through BITSAT then you can opt for dual, work hard in first year, get a reasonable CGPA and opt for your desired branch.2. M.Sc can be advantage to your BE degree in placements. For example M.Sc Economics + CS is considered to be the best combination. You can be preferred more than normal BE people.3. You will get an extra year to enjoy the campus. Believe me this will be a boon which you will realize after third year.DISADVANTAGES:1. You will have to study an year more which costs both money and time.2. A bit of extra burden in third and fourth year because you have to do compulsory courses and try to complete electives too.3. Attending placements will be difficult if you opt for double sem PS in your final year.Overall its not bad to opt for dual. I feel its better to take dual if you really want to pursue your favorite branch but couldn't get it.

To qualify BITSAT the students are advised to create a strong preparation plan. Firstly, the students should check and be familiar with the BITSAT exam pattern and syllabus. This will allow the students to understand how the examination will be held and know the subjects and topics that have to be studied. A proper timetable has to be created that will allow the students to finish the syllabus beforehand and give them enough time for revision. Mock tests and sample papers should be attempted regularly so that they are able to understand their weak areas and work on them. Students should also ensure that they get enough rest and are healthy fo the examination.
