It seamlessly came into existence on 5th September 2020 upon the elevation of erstwhile Pondicherry Engineering College - PEC (established in the year 1985 under the 7th five-year plan) with the University status. Pondicherry Engineering College Admissions Process:
The admissions to the eligible candidates will be given on the basis of their scores in CENTAC. The Centralized Admissions Committee which is abbreviated as CENTAC is constituted by the Government of Puducherry every academic year. It is a gateway for interested candidates to seek admissions to the undergraduate and lateral entry engineering programmes offered in the university and all the colleges in the state. Central Admission Committee CENTAC conducts CENTAC admission, which is a counselling process, for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes. Hope it helps.

Panjab University (PU) B.Com is a 3-year UG level course. Admission to the B.Com course will be done on a merit basis. After the initial merit list is displayed, the final selection will be done on a counselling basis held by the university.

At the UG program the university provides various courses with multiple disciplines. All the courses are full time and campus based. Courses like B.E, B.Com, B.Sc, B.A, BHMCT, B.P.Ed, B.Ed, LLB, B.Pharma, B.Lib.Sc and few integrated courses are provided by the university. Regular courses like B.A, B.Sc are provided in Hons. and General both. Students are required to qualify 10+2 level or equivalent degree in relevant subjects with a minimum number of percentages from a recognized board. The selection process is based on both entrance and merit that differs from one subject to another.
