Biotechnology programme which is a four-semester program, enables graduate students to pursue doctoral studies or professional employment, by imparting in-depth knowledge in specific areas of Biotechnology along with three semester dissertation. It has a duration of 2 years. The eligibility criteria are - Pass with 55% aggregate marks in bachelor's degree in BiotechnologyOr Applied Medical Science (Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physiotherapy, Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Sciences)Or Medical Science & Allied Medical Science (MBBS, BAMS, BDS, BHMS, Nursing, MLT)Or Biosciences (Biotech, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Genetics)or Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology) or Agriculture or Nanotechnology or Food Sciences or Veterinary Microbiology and Parasitology or Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology or Public Health & Allied Sciences or Plant Science or equivalent.The programme fee per semester is 80000 INR, without any scholarship. If you want to reduce this fee, then you can apply for the LPUNEST scholarship exam and after qualifying you can get up to 70% scholarship in programme fees.
