Desh Bhagat University, Punjab offers more than 256 programs of undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral levels and the admission procedure for each of these courses varies. For some courses admissions are based only on merit on the basis of class 12th scores while for others, different types of entrance test scores are considered along with previous year’s marks. However, for every course they choose, candidates need to have at least 50% or above marks in the previous qualifying examination. Established in 1972, Desh Bhagat University, Punjab is the only private university in state of Punjab to get the 12 (b) status and operates its campuses in Moga, Chandigarh, Shri Muktsar Sahib and Kenya. The university offers 256+ professional courses across 50 streams like agriculture, applied science, ayurveda, business management and communication, dentistry, engineering, etc. at the undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral level approved by UGC, AIU, BCI, CCIM, NAAC, PCI, INC, PNRC Mohali, UN Academic Impact, NCTE, DCI, CSIR, etc. Besides this, the university also has several international collaborations including those with Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan; Sprott Shaw College, British Columbia and Marketing Institute of Singapore, etc.
