No, as per the available information, there is no provision for direct admission to BA at Guru Nanak Dev University. BA admissions at the university are entrance-based. The entrance exam is conducted by the Head of the Department offering BA courses at GNDU. To appear for this exam, candidates must fill out an application form on the official website of the university. Based on the performance in this exam, a merit list is prepared. Only the applicants whose names are included in the merit list can get an admission at GNDU for BA, provided they fulfil the preset eligibillity criteria.

Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) has over 30,000 seats for various BA courses. The mentioned number includes the BA seats available at the GNDU-affiliated colleges offering BA courses. These seats are allocated through a merit list prepared based on the applicants' performance in the entrance exam conducted by the HOD. The university also reserves some seats for candidates belonging to SC, Backward Class, PwD, etc. The mentioned seat information is sourced from the official website of the university/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.
