No, BSc at GNDU is not a professional course. While a BSc provides specialised knowledge and skills in areas such as Biology,  Chemistry,  Physics,  Computer Science,  Mathematics, and various other scientific fields, it's not considered a professional course. Professional courses are the courses that lead directly to specific professions (such as Law, Engineering, etc.). However, pursuing a BSc can certainly lead to various professional opportunities. Admission to GNDU BSc (Hons) is based on an entrance exam conducted by the Head of the Department, GNDU. To appear for this exam, candidates must fill out an application form on the official website of the university. Based on the performance in this exam, a merit list is prepared. Only the students whose names are included in the merit list can get an admission at GNDU for BSc (Hons), subject to the fulfillment of the eligibillity criteria. Hence, candidates can not take direct admission to the BSc courses offered at the university.

Guru Nanak Dev University offers BSc courses in multiple specialisations. You can take admission in the MBA programme at Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus, Gurdaspur without appearing for the MAT (Management Aptitude Test) exam. The admission process is based solely on your 12th standard marks.
