Only B.Ed is not sufficient to get a job. One has to clear eligibility test (RTET) also after B.Ed.

It is indeed great to know your desire to pursue PhD. It's great. Normally speaking, one can pursue Ph.D without attending any college. Hence, I feel it is perfectly possible to do what you are thinking. Firstly, you will have to clear entrance exam for admission. Then search and get accepted by guide. Then select research topic with guidance from your guide. Register yourself with university for this subject and guide. Then, you are on your own.

1. Interest: If you are not interested in your current job or do not like it then to change your career path, you can choose marketing, finance, HR, etc.
2. To improve your career prospects: If you want to improve your career prospects then it's better to do that course which will be of some help in your work. From that point of view, operations would be good for you.
