It is a full residential women's university. Hence, the university has seats divided into two categories: day boarders and residential students. JVWU also admit candidates under management quota. Moreover, out of the total seat intake, 10% of seats are reserved for the day boarders and 90% for residential students. The aspirants can also get in touch with the admission office to gather more details related to the seat reservation.

The total seat intake for JVWU BPharm course is 40. At the time of seat allotment, the sanctioned seat intake is also taken into consideration. The university has certain seats under management quota as well. Out of total seats, 10% are for day boarders and 90% are for residential students. The university offer admission to the BPharm programme based on merit in JNEE exam and through management quota. Candidates seeking admission must meet the course-specific eligibility criteria as prescribed by the authorities. The eligible students can visit the JVWU website to register and apply. After conclusion of application procedure, a merit list is published with names of the selected students. These students can take part in counselling for document verification and seat allotment.
