Yes, Ranchi University is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with Grade 'B+'. Ranchi University is also recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. It is officially recognised under Section 12B of the UGC Act. It is a public state university in Jharkhand, India, and was established in 1960.

Admissions are open for UG courses at The ICFAI University, the deadline to apply is August 16 for all UG, PG, Diploma, and PhD programmes for the academic year 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the CUET UG 2023 results on July 15. The participating institutes will hold and perform CUET UG 2023 Counselling independently. CUET Undergraduate Counselling will probably take place provisionally between July and August.

On July 12, 1960, Ranchi University was established as a stand-alone university and separated from the former Bihar University. The university offers degrees in undergraduate, post-graduate, M.Phil., and doctorate programs in various fields like medical, nursing, engineering, liberal arts, etc.
