NLU Ranchi accepts CLAT scores, followed by a round of counselling for admission to the integrated law programme. During the NUSRL CLAT cutoff 2024, the cutoff list was released up to five rounds. The last round closing rank for the BA LLB (Hons) course was 1594. Observing the last three years closing ranks, an inconsistency is observed in closing ranks for the General AI quota. Moreover, the last round cutoff of the same course was 1895 in 2023, while in 2022, the cutoff closed at 1578.

No, you cannot take admission to the BA LLB (Hons) course of NUSRL Ranchi without a Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) score. Admission to law programmes at the National Law Universities is based on this exam score only. The exam is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). Thus, the course aspirants must take the entrance test to secure a seat in the integrated programme.
