Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) is a central University, located in Brambe, Ranchi, Jharkhand. It was established by an act of Indian Parliament (Act no. 25 of 2009) in 2009. The Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) is a respectable college, although the admissions procedure might be hard. To pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering, a candidate must have passed class 12 (equivalent to the two-year Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination. The eligibility criteria for admission is 45% for General Category candidates and 40% for SC/ST, Category-1 and OBC Category candidates. If the marks obtained in Chemistry are less than the required aggregate percentage for eligibility, then the marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics will be considered in place of Chemistry (but not for the purpose of determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).
