IIT Roorkee charges a total of INR 8 lakh for BTech. These fees came from unverified sources. Students are urged to contact the admission office for information on the precise charge. For JEE Advanced, different category students must pay an application fee ranging from INR 1,400 to INR 2,800. IIT Roorkee has 10 boy hostels, 3 girl hostels, and 6 hostels for married candidates. The campus has a new co-ed hostel, Vigyan Kunj. Hostels may accommodate Undergraduate and Postgraduate students, along with doctoral students. All the hostels have basic amenities like a cyber cafe, gym, Wi-Fi, water purifiers, common room, recreation room, mess, TV, laundry services, security and surveillance systems, etc. Students are assigned to hostels by the school administration after their freshman year. The hostels at IIT Roorkee are called Bhawans. Each Bhawan has a mess. Mess administration consists of a staff advisory, a chief advisory, and a student mess secretary.
