In National Institute of Technology Meghalaya hostel fee is quite less around 10 k per semester but with mess which is around 24k per semester and pother charges like internet electricity water and other things it goes around 50 k.

Yes, as per the rules of national institutes of technology in NIT meghalaya also have certain seat reservation for different categories-1- 50% seats are reserved for students beliongs from that state that is state quota . so those people passing from meghalya will get benifit of this.2- Categories quota is also there for different categories like SC/ST/OBC.
