The Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU) has a total of 128 seats for the LLM programme. Candidates are admitted to the course based on CLAT score and as per the sanctioned seat intake. NLU Shimla LLM admission is through CLAT exam. Hence, the aspirants are required to apply for the entrance test and stay updated with its dates. Candidates are shortlisted for NLU Shimla LLM course based on their score in Common-Law Admission Test (CLAT). It is a pen and paper based examination. The exam duration is two hours. There is no other provision for admission at NLUs. Moreover, after the entrance test, candidates who meet the cutoff mark can participate in the CLAT counselling.
