There is no eligibility requirement for IELTS. It is just a language test that provides a score on the basis of your English speaking and understanding capabilities. This score is used by the universities abroad to determine your eligibility for their courses.

BMM/BMS fall under the category of self-financed courses (comparatively expensive)
This is because these are professional courses provide technical knowledge. They are not just graduation degrees, but will land you in to a technical world. Even after being a government funded college, Xavier's College charge a higher fees for BMM and BMS, as the study kit involved in it charges more than for nominal courses.

As you have not mentioned which graduation programme you are going to apply, I will add both *MS or M.Engineering: There are 2 types of Master's degree programmes (a) MS by research work (b) MS by coursework. Coursework is more like training to get a job, it includes not much research experience. MS research work is more like getting yourself immersed in research and thesis. Here, your lab or research-oriented works are more than coursework basis studies. You need minimum 75% academic marks to apply for admission. Normally, they used to visit India once a year in Advance and conduct interviews. You can directly meet him and get the admission. You can also apply online. GRE and GMAT are not mandatory.
