Admission requirements to apply to NUS differ with the education board you are currently enrolled with . If you are a Central and ISCE Boards student you need not take the SAT or ACT. However if you are pursuing your 12th from a state board you must take SAT or ACT. English language tests such as IELTS or TOEFL are not required.
Here are two important links which you should check

You haven't mentioned which area you are planning to pursue your masters in. Certain programs require a GRE or GMAT or a department specific test. You need to visit the particular department or faculty website for admission requirements.
Please check these-

If possible go through the alumni speak section to get an idea what the alumni thinks about the institute. However, we can help you with the parameters that you can keep in mind while choosing an institute. You can consider the below parameters :-
1) Faculty,
2) Affiliation / Recognition
3) Course Material,
4) Quality Education,
5) Fees
6) Infrastructure
7) Success Rate.
8) Placement
9) Top recruiting companies.
Hope this information helps. Please feel free to revert.
Wish you luck.
