Students have free access to internet in the campus 24 hrs a day.Inherent civic facilities:Like water supply, sewerage and electrification with provisions of high-powered soundless generators to ensure uninterrupted electric supply in each of the buildings.Transport facilities:With A.C. buses for staff and students commuting from nearby areas.Library:The Libraries of the Campus are Computerized. University collection comprises of Books, CD's and Video.

All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light. Each hostel has its own mess providing hygienic and nutritious meals three times a day. The menu is designed to cater to a range of taste buds.The University makes the best possible efforts to provide the best of services and facilities within the hostels. To make the stay of the students a pleasant one they are constantly involved in organizing various events, activities and celebrations within the hostels. Various sports and cultural clubs have been made for the students to enhance their participation and knowledge.• There are separate hostels for MBBS Students, Interns and President doctors.• Separate hostels for boys and girls with attached washrooms, bed, table, chair and almirahs• 24 hrs power backup• Hot water in winters (scheduled timings) in hostels• Facilities for indoor and outdoor games like Table tennis, Badminton, Basket Ball, Volleyball.• Hygienic mess facility with vegetarian meals only• 24 hours security• Well equipped Gymnasium

Since I'm a student, I can express my opinion. I will surely consider Chandigarh University before visiting both LPU and Chitkara since I am not biassed in any way. Three of these universities are the top ones, and I am from Punjab. Universities are excellent in and of themselves, but Chandigarh University is my top focus.Recently, the NIRF ranking became known. I must say that Chandigarh University is doing much better. Being the youngest university to enter the competition is challenging, but it did so brilliant. Chandigarh University continues on its successful path in engineering, moving up to positions 38 in management, 36 in pharmacy, 34 in architecture, and 15 in architecture. In addition, Chandigarh University now ranks 27th, surpassing Chitkara and LPU as the best university.In the end, Chandigarh University is my preferred university, despite my sometimes slight bias.

Chitkara University offers separate hostel accommodations for male and female students. The hostel fee, which includes laundry charges, varies based on the type of room. For a semi-furnished room with a bed, mattress, study table, chair, and an almirah, the charges are INR 30,000 (four-seater), INR 31,000 (three-seater), and INR 34,200 (two-seater) per semester. Additionally, a caution fee of INR 5,000, which is refundable, is payable at the time of admission. Laundry services are available for an additional fee of INR 3,000. Students have the option to choose between availing the mess facility or opting for meals of their choice at the food courts on a payment basis. Those who opt for the mess facility will be required to pay an additional charge of INR 14,000 per semester. The hostels are located within the campus premises and provide shared rooms for students.
