OPJS university is good on the basis of its fee structure but it is not that much good to pursue journalism and mass communication. Placements are considered to be average and the recruiters are less. On the other hand, IEC university offers 3-years full-time course in journalism and mass communication. It offers all the kind of facilities from friendly faculty members to all the technical equipment. Hello Gurpreet,
Frankly speaking your BSc in nursing is good enough graduation to go abroad either canada or any country. Hence i feel you will be wasting your time by doing any other course in india either by distance or by part time. I would like to strongly advise you that please approach and agency which is dealing with sending people abroad. In western countries particularly in canada and uk there is acute shortage of nursing professionals and you have a bright chance.

I don't know about Symbiosis but Chitkara is good! The training of journalism is very good here in Chitkara!

Firstly apart from the college, you have to decide in which course you have the interest. Selecting the course only on the basis of college is not good. Chitkara HP campus is very good. The academics and placements are good. Moreover, there is no pollution on this campus and the weather here is also good. Apart from academics the college provides exposure to students and organises many DJ nights for the student. It's a good college!

I don't know about the other two colleges but yes Chitkara University is a very good college for pursuing this course! Apart from the excellent academics, the infrastructure is very good. They provide very good exposure to the students!
