If you face any issue with anything faculty is always there to help you out. SRM also is known for its placement cell and big recruiters do come for the placement. I'll prefer you to opt for the YMCA Faridabad as this is better than NIT in terms of placements as this college is in the vicinity of industrial area so many companies visit this college for the recruitment and hence students gets quality placements.

It is India's best Bachelor of Engineering in Haryana in Mechanical Engineering which is a structured program that prepares students for a broad range of career choices in the field of mechanical engineering. Mechanical Engineering deals with the design and production of tools, machines and all other mechanical equipment to be used in industries. The department offers many options extending across many interdisciplinary specialties.
B.Tech. - Mechanical Engineering (ME)
Duration: 4 years
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination, recognized by State or Central Education Board. It is required to score at least 50% aggregate in PCM in the qualifying examination i.e. XII Board Exam. Candidates must have taken five subjects in 12th Standard. He/she must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects in 12th Standard.

As per UGC notification of 5th May, 2016 Minimum duration for Ph.D. is 3 years including course work and a maximum of 6 years (full time/part-time).
