The University has released the combined statistics for UG (4 years) courses. As per the NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to BTech/ BPharma students during University of Kashmir placements 2022 was NR 6 LPA. In 2021, the median package was the same, i.e. INR 6 LPA. Earlier, the median package offered during 2020 placements was INR 5 LPA.

Yes, Kashmir University degree is valid as it is approved by UGC and AIU. The university is accredited with A+ Grade by NAAC. Kashmir University is ranked 72 by US News 2023 under the University (Overall) category, 110 by the QS World University Rankings 2023 under the Southern Asia category, and 451-500 by the QS World University Rankings 2023 under the Asia category.

The application form can be downloaded from the university website (kashmiruniversity.net). The hardcopy of the filled-out application along with INR 750 including IT fee (non-refundable) fee payment receipt and a copy of important documents has to be sent to the Office of the College Development Council.

It is one of the top universities among the others in the area. As per the university NIRF 2022 report, 491 students were placed in 2021 placements drive. Further, the median package offered to the UG (4-year) and PG (2-year) students was INR 6 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters were TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, etc.

The process followed by the university for the conversion of grade points into the percentage of marks is simply obtained by multiplying the former by 10. For example, a grade point average of 9.15 means a percentage of 91.5.
