Some of the member of faculty have corporate experience, and to improve the quality of teaching, the college often conducts programmes for faculty development. Students have opportunities to interact with faculty mainly in matters pertaining to their studies or career. The admission process to K.L.N. College of Engineering is based on an online application form that is provided at the college website. For B.E.B.Tech admissions, candidates have to sit for TNEA counseling or can directly go for management seat. Candidates willing to pursue M.E./M.Tech courses have to appear for TANCET examination or take admission under management seat. Tentative documents include mark sheets, transfer certificates, community certificates and photographs. The dates for the application change every year, generally round June–July.
