You need to score minimum 92-95 percentile or above in JEE mains.But cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease depending on the number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

Dibrugarh University has been ranked 33 in the Pharmacy category by the NIRF ranking 2023 whereas Tezpur University was not under the top 100 by NIRF ranking 2022. Moreover, it has been ranked 301-350 in the Asia University Rankings. The median package offered by Dibrugarh University was INR 4 LPA during placement 2022 whereas the median package offered at Tezpur University was INR 4.25 LPA. Further, when compared according to the BTech fees, Dibrugarh University BTech fees range between INR 33 K - INR 3.5Lacswhereas the Tezpur University BTech fees is INR 2.16 lakh.

Tezpur University was established in 1994 and is spread over an area of 264 acres land. Moreover, TU is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC)  and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Also, TU is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Tezpur University admission is completely entrance-based. The entrance exam accepted for BTech/MTech by Tezpur University, includes JEE Main for BTech and GATE/TUEE for MTech. The university releases a cutoff list to declare the minimum scores required for selection. Candidates with marks equal to or more than the cutoff marks become eligible for admission.

During Tezpur University placements, the median package offered to BTech and MBA students was INR 4.25 LPA and INR 5.11 LPA, respectively in 2022.
