1) Pretty good infrastructure compared to other colleges and universities in the North East as well as rest of India.
2) Nice location and good environment for studies.
3) Lot of activities apart from classes (music, dance, drama, quiz, debate, etc).

The minimum eligibility to apply is that candidate should have a minimum pass mark of 60% in class 12th with mandatory subjects like mathematics, physics, chemistry, and statistics.
The aggregate calculated is for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Statistics put together. A candidate must have studied English along with the mandatory subjects at 10+2 level.
