In this year Jee advanced paper, I got 220/366 and my IIST rank came to be 212. And guess what, I was getting all the streams. My advanced rank was in 3924. So if the Jee advanced paper is as easy as this year, you need to score more than 210 to get a stream in IIST. And if the paper was as difficult as in 2016, then you will have to get above 130.
So as you can see, it depends on the difficulty of your paper! So I can say, practice hard, do good! Try to bring your rank below 8000 in Jee advanced! Then there might be a chance!
