To get admitted to the MCA programme at NIT Trichy, students must have a minimum 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA in BSc/BSc (Hons)/BCA/BIT with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent as one of the disciplines. Students who have completed a BE/B Tech or similar degree from a qualified university may also apply for this course. Candidates from the SC/ST categories, on the other hand, are eligible for a 5% relaxation. These candidates must acquire a minimum of 55% or 6.0 CGPA in their respective graduations. Candidates will be shortlisted for subsequent rounds of selection based on their eligibility.

The NIT Trichy MCA 2023 admission is currently closed. The last seat assignment for the month of July marks the conclusion of the admissions process. However, NIMCET registration will mark the start of NIT Trichy's 2024 MCA admissions. It is likely that NIMCET 2024 registration will open in July of that year.

For the relevant courses, candidates must be eligible to sit for national entrance exams like JEE Main, IIT JAM, CAT, etc. In addition, candidates need to show up for extra rounds of selection, such as the MBA Personal Interview (PI) round. IIM Trichy is one of the top B schools in the country. It was established in 2011 and is known for offering postgraduate management programmes. Despite being a comparatively new IIM, IIM Trichy has been conducting really successful placement drives for its students. The increased intake hasn't affetcted the placement numbers and the opportunities created by the institute for students. In 2024, the institute successfully placed its PGPM students with the highest package of INR 43.69 LPA.

Candidates willing for admission to MSc at NIT Trichy must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria for the course in the first place. Students who want to get admission to MSc at NIT Trichy must graduate with a minimum 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA (for SC/ ST/PwD, a minimum 55% aggregate or 6.0 CGPA is required) in the respective subjects. The relevant documents also have to be presented as a proof of eligibility for verification purposes.

Yes, NIT Trichy offers an MBA program. An MBA programme lasting 2 years is available at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli. Based on CAT results, students are admitted to the MBA programme at NIT Trichy. To be considered for final admission they must pass a selection process that includes stages of group discussion and personal interview. There are 7 specializations for the management degree program, including marketing, finance, human resource management, etc.

According to some unofficial sources, As of May 22, 2024, the highest package offered at NIT Trichy is estimated to be  INR 52.89 Lakhs per Annum. Official placement reports for the 2024 batch are not available yet. You can contact the placement cell or the official website of NIT Trichy to know the exact details. However, the institute is known to offer decent placements.
