There are mixed opinions on the American University of Sharjah's MBA program. According to a Reddit thread, some people have expressed concerns regarding the high fees and worth of the programme as it has limited industry connections and does not provide a pathway to work in Europe or North America. However, some alumni have praised the institution for its excellent educational facilities, great professors and staff, and strong connections with the business world.

Campus life would be better as it offers a vibrant and dynamic experience with access to various extracurricular activities, clubs, and events. Living on campus provides students convenient access to academic buildings, sports facilities, and on-campus dining options. The residential halls at AUS are home to a community of young men and women from varying cultures and backgrounds, providing a rich multicultural atmosphere. The Student Residential Life Department has created the International Buddy Program (IBP) to ease the transition for new international students, with current international residents helping new ones.
