Oxford University is among the top 10 universities in the world while IIT Kanpur is one of the popular IIT Colleges in India. Work experience is not mandatory to apply for the MSc in Law and Finance programme at the University of Oxford. However, work experience in a relevant field may be an advantage. Applicants are suggested to highlight any relevant work experience whether full time or internship.

It may be difficult for international students to study BTech from Oxford because of its low admission rate. Oxford acceptance rate is around 16.03%, makes the admission highly competitive for international students. The university received over 23,000 applications for the fall of 2023, among which over 3,200 were enrolled in undergraduate programs including BTech.

International students can get into the Oxford BTech programme if they complete a high school degree with at least Ga rade 'A'.
