Amherst College is a highly selective liberal arts college with an acceptance rate of 10%. Getting into Amherst College is a difficult task. However standardized test scores are optional to submit, half the applicants admitted to Amherst College who submitted test scores have an SAT score between 1360 and 1550 or an ACT score of 31 and 35. Applicants have to submit official academic transcripts, Two Teacher Recommendations. Students can enhance their application by submitting their Esssay, Research papers and Art Supplement. International students need to quality English proficiency exams as well.
