For UG applications, CSU Colorado State University makes decisions within 4 weeks after a complete application has been submitted. The university notifies about the decision via email first. To check the application status after submission of application, the applicants are going to receive an email with the instructions to activate the electronic identity. Then, wait for confirmation and log into the portal using NETID. Then, look for the admission decision.

To get into Colorado State U, the applicants are required to meet the GPA requirements as well. Generally, for admission to UG courses, the university admits students with a GPA of 3.0+ (on a 4.0 scale). Factors considered for admission to UG courses, the university consider the factors like academic rigor, academic performance, involvement, etc. In the case of admission to graduate courses, the applicants are required to have a GPA of 3.0.

Colorado State University QS ranking is #442 in 2025. It ranks at #409 in 2024. This shows that there has been a decline in the university’s ranking. But, since 2020, this university has maintained a position among the Top 500 Universities in the world. Getting part-time jobs at Portland Community College is manageable. The college offers OPT and CPT programs. These are practical training programs that allow students to gain work experience during and after the completion of their course. Students have to follow the regulations. They are allowed to work  20 hours a week while school is in session and can work full time during school breaks. The average wage students get while working on campus is $15.95/hr. To work off campus students need to get work authorization. The average hourly pay for a Part Time Student in Portland is $19.18 an hour.

Portland Community College is a reasonable option for international students. It is one of the top 40 community colleges in the US. It is not difficult to get into Portland Community College. It has an acceptance rate of 100%. The college has an open admission policy where all qualified students having the minimum requirements get in. Students are required to have a high school diploma or GED certificate.  It does not require SAT or ACT scores which is also a relief for students. English proficiency test scores are also not compulsory for admission as the college offers English as a Second Language (ESL) program that helps non-native English speakers improve their English language skills. Applications are accepted year-round.
