Washington State University expects a minimum GPA of 2.7 from undergraduate students and 3 from graduate students on a scale of 4. Along with the GPA score, students must fulfill the basic eligibility including a proof of secondary school completion or a bachelor’s degree from a recognized organization or equivalent. In addition, students must submit the basic documents, such as school/college transcripts, ACT/ SAT scores, English language requirements, and more.

Yes, an average Indian student can join CUNY York College. The acceptance rate of York College is 59% which indicates a competitive pool but the admission standards are standard. Students generally need to have a GPA of 3.0 or more. Being a test-optional college it makes it easier for International students to get in. They don't have to submit ACT or SAT scores as they are not required nor considered. Interviews are not a part of the admissions process. The goals of an average student should be to pass the English proficiency test and keep up a strong academic standing.
