The holistic approach includes certain factors on which the university judges students. Some of the crucial factors considered by the university are difficulty of senior-level coursework, ACT/SAT scores; college and academic program; rigor of the high school curriculum; extracurricular or leadership activities; job and volunteer experience; awards; special talents or skills; and optional supporting statement.
